BOGOTA, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Uncapped Deportes Tolima goalkeeper Alvaro Montero and Atletico Mineiro winger Yimmi Chara have been drafted into Colombia's squad for friendlies against Japan and South Korea.
Montero replaces Napoli goalkeeper David Ospina, who suffered concussion during his team's 2-2 Italian Serie A draw with Udinese on Sunday, the Colombian football federation said in a statement.
Chara substitutes Juan Fernando Quintero, who ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee while playing for River Plate in their 3-0 Superliga Argentina win over Independiente, also on Sunday.
Chara, who has made nine appearances for Colombia, last played for the Cafeteros in their 3-1 friendly win over Costa Rica last October.
Colombia will meet Japan in Yokohama on Friday and South Korea in Seoul four days later.
