China's tennis player Zheng loses in opening round at Miami Open

WASHINGTON, March 20 (Xinhua) -- China's tennis player Zheng Saisai lost to Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic 6-3, 6-1 in the opening round of the Miami Open on Wednesday.

Zheng, ranked 39th in the world, lost serve twice to drop the first set in 45 minutes and in the second set Zheng could hardly test her opponent, who finished the match in one hour and 20 minutes.

The Miami Open will end on March 31.
