KIEV, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine will print more than 30.4 million ballot papers for the presidential election scheduled for March 31, the country's Central Electoral Commission (CEC) said here on Thursday.

Eugene Radchenko, the deputy head of the CEC, said at a press briefing that it will spend about 6.1 million U.S. dollars in ordering the ballots.

All of the voting papers will be printed by the Kiev-based state enterprise Polygraph Combine Ukraina by March 24.

When the election begins, Ukrainian voters will cast their ballots at some 29,800 polling stations in 199 electoral districts across the country.

According to various opinion polls, incumbent President Petro Poroshenko, opposition politician Yulia Tymoshenko and actor Volodymyr Zelensky were viewed as frontrunners in the presidential race.
