BEIJING, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Guangdong Southeast Tigers beat Jiangsu Dragons 135-108 on Saturday for a 3-0 sweep to make it to the last four, while Shenzhen Leopards defeated Beijing Ducks 116-110 to keep their hope alive after being 2-0 down in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league quarterfinals.

Jiangsu had a sluggish start trailing by 13 points in the first quarter. Guangdong initiated a 9-0 spurt to start the second quarter, and had a comfortable lead 66-40 before the half break, with an efficient 48 percent scoring of its attempts.

Then, the title favorites rested former NBA player Yi Jianlian who had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and local star Zhou Peng in the final minutes to get ready for the semifinals.

However, Guangdong still have to wait for their opponents in the semis as their neighbouring Shenzhen Leopards pulled one back in the "do or die" game, edging Beijing 116-110.

With 102-102 into the overtime, He Xining of Shenzhen nailed a three-pointer and grabbed a rebound to keep alive his team's hope of going through.
