BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese prospect Han Xu is uncertain if she's going to play in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) this upcoming season due to national team obligation, despite entering the WNBA draft next week.

Han's Chinese agent Ma Jie said Sunday that the 19-year-old center is still in talks with the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

The Chinese women's national team was called up on Thursday in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games qualification tournament.

The International Federation of Basketball Association (FIBA) changed the rules of qualification for the Olympics and the World Cup in 2018, as all the berths will be decided by the qualifiers except automatic qualifications for the defending champions and the hosts.

Han, a 2.07-meter center from Xinjiang Tianshan women's club, announced two weeks ago that she would enter the 2019 WNBA draft, which is set on April 10.

Han is now training in Los Angeles to get prepared for the draft after her team Xinjiang lost to Beijing in the playoffs of the Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) league last month.
