MADRID, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares fell by 0.32 percent on Tuesday with the benchmark index Ibex-35 opening at 9,437.70 points and closing at 9,407.80 points.
A total of 24 of the 35 companies trading on the Ibex-35 saw their shares losing value, while the shares of 10 gained value and one remained unchanged.
Tuesday's worst performers were cellulose producer ENCE Energia y Celulosa with a 2.29 percent fall in share prices. Shares in the international airline group IAG dropped by 1.65 percent and those of construction and infrastructure company ACS fell by 1.59 percent.
The day's best performing companies were telecommunications company Cellnex Telecom with a 2.86 increase in share prices. Shares in renewable energy company Siemans Gamesa rose by 1.98 percent and savings bank Bankia saw an increase of 1.67 percent in share values. Enditem
