BANGKOK, April 10 (Xinhua) -- At least three people died and seven others were injured after fire broke out Wednesday at a shopping mall in Thai capital Bangkok, police said.
The fire broke out at 17:40 local time at the 8th floor of Bangkok's Central World shopping mall and the fire was extinguished at about 18:10, according to the Central Group operating the mall.
Three people were reportedly killed by the fire and seven others were injured and rushed to hospital, the Pathumwan police said.
Two of the unidentified fire victims were seen jumping out of the building and the video of which went viral on social media. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene and the other at hospital.
