In almost eight years, more than 50 medical workers from a health center in Taojia Town have provided nearly 1,000 villagers with door-to-door medical services including physical check-up, health intervention and rehabilitation training. Because of limited access to villages, these medical workers have to shoulder medical equipment with baskets to treat villagers every month.
