NEW DELHI, April 21 (Xinhua) -- An Indian woman was reportedly among the dead in the multiple blasts that rocked Sri Lanka on Sunday, Indian local media reported.

The victim, 55, was reportedly visiting her relatives in Colombo to celebrate Easter. She hailed from India's southern state Kerala.

Kerala Chief Minister's Office confirmed that the woman was killed in a church blast in Colombo. "We are in touch with the Indian high commission in Colombo to bring her body back," said Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Over 200 were confirmed dead and more than 400 injured in a string of blasts that ripped through hotels and churches in capital Colombo and other places in Sri Lanka.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had telephone conversations with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Sunday to convey condolences, according to sources with the Indian government.
