DUBAI, April 25 (Xinhua) -- A spokesperson for Dubai Expo 2020 on Thursday confirmed that 192 countries have announced their participation in the international event, state-run news agency WAM reported.
"We have extended invitations to all countries of the world with no exception in line with our commitment to making the expo a truly international event and a platform for humanity in general," an official spokesperson for the fair said.
The expo, which will be held in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates between Oct. 20, 2020 and April 10, 2021, is a huge meeting of people from all parts of the world.
It also represents an occasion where people can share their talents in handling common challenges to push societies towards development.
