KUNMING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Top-seeded Chinese pair Duan Yingying and Han Xinyun beat Maddison Inglis and Miyabi Inoue of Australia 6-2, 1-6 (10-4), advancing into the final of the Kunming Tennis Open here on Friday.

The Chinese pair stormed to victory in the first set, but their opponents recovered from a sluggish start to level the score.

"You played too casually in the second set, you completely lost the game yourselves," coach Liang Qian said to the duo afterwards.

The Chinese pair regained their form after 3-3 in the deciding game and finally clinched the victory, their third consecutive win after surviving a tiebreaker.

"Although we have played three tiebreakers in a row, fatigue is not a problem to us," Duan said. "They played very well in the second set, we were better in the last."

Han, who won the women's doubles at Kunming with another Chinese player in 2017, will fight alongside Duan this time for another trophy. Their opponents in the final on Sunday will be the winners between Chinese pair Peng Shuai and Yang Zhaoxuan, and Xu Shilin of China and Andreea Amalia Rosca of Romania.
