BEIJING, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Hollywood's "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" topped the box office of the Chinese mainland market Friday, according to the China Movie Data Information Network Saturday.
The live-action/animated film grossed 75.16 million yuan (about 11 million U.S. dollars) on the first day of its release.
It was followed by Disney and Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame," which took in 27.96 million yuan.
Coming in the third was Lebanese film "Capernaum," which earned around 12.97 million yuan. Enditem
