FRANKFURT, May 22 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 25.27 points, or 0.21 percent, to close at 12,168.74 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 5.86 percent. Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas and marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group rose by 2.06 percent and 1.93 percent respectively.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.48 percent. German airlines Lufthansa and Deutsche Bank down by 1.98 percent and 1.19 percent respectively.
Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 154.2 million euros (171.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
