BERLIN, May 24 (Xinhua) -- A recent survey of German football fans has revealed that a sizeable majority believe that Bayern Munich are on course to win the 2019 German Cup Final. The game, taking place this Saturday, will see Bayern up against RB Leipzig at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.

72.8 percent said in this survey they expect on the reigning German Champions to secure their record 19th DFB-Pokal this weekend.

Here are five reasons why Bayern will beat Leipzig.

Bayern's huge experience

This is not a new experience for most of the Bayern players. Bayern, boasting a team of World Cup winners and multiple winner's medals, have a team dripping in big game experience, while relatively young and inexperienced squad of Leipzig will be in this situation for the first time.

The unique atmosphere and the occasion are going to matter says former German international and Bayern professional Stefan Effenberg. Every football fan in the country is going to be focused on the game. There will be more media attention than ever before.

We know how to handle pressure Bayern striker Thomas Mueller commented.

Bayern, the most successful German side of all time expect the win. With a record of 29 Bundesligas, 18 Cup titles, 7 European Cups, the young club of RB Leipzig will be hoping to add their first ever Pokal and first ever piece of silverware.

Having won the 2019 Bundesliga will give the Bavarians a motivation boost.

Final chance for Kovac to secure his job

During Bayern's final league game against Eintracht Frankfurt the fans made it clear in their confidence in Kovac to remain in post for next season at the Allianz Arena. A series of chants and the unfurling of banners by the Bayern fans praised Kovac and they sent a message to the Bayern board to retain confidence in the 47-year-old after rumours that his job was on the line after an initial poor start to his tenure.

After taking over from Jupp Heynckes, Kovac had a rocky start to his Bayern managerial career. The club spent large parts of the season trailing bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund and even falling as low as sixth in September, however a resurgence in the second half of the season saw the side lift league title on the final day.

Farewell party for Robben, Ribery

This will be the last hurrah for two of Bayern's most iconic wingers. After ten and 12 season in a Bayern shirt respectively, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery will be determined to leave the club on a high.

Robben has won eight National Championships and four national cups, while Ribery is Bayern's record holder of nine Championships as well as five Cup victories.

"It is a dream to go after having won the Cup and maybe score a goal," Robben said. Ribery spoke about the last present for Bayern's fans.

Both 35-year-olds will most likely start on the bench and hope to be brought on as substitutes later in the game.

Bayern's quality up front

Robert Lewandowski, Muller, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman will lineup as one of the most formidable attacks in world football. Legendary Polish striker Lewandowski will lead the line coming of the back of claiming the Bundesliga top goal scorer award with 22 goals.

Yet despite Lewandowski's efforts, the Bayern have shown this season that goals can come from any where on the pitch. A team total of 88 goals in the 2018/2019 Bundesliga season speaks for itself, while Leipzig could only manage 63 during their campaign. For Leipzig to get anything from this game they will hope their top goalscorer Timo Werner will be able to add to his tally of 16 league goals.

The clubs leading position and the team's future

Bayern will do all they can to beat Leipzig after the team lost last year's final to Frankfurt says Effenberg. "They don't want that to happen again," the former Bayern captain stated.

To beat Leipzig would cement Bayern's position as the top side in Germany this season. A 2019 league and cup double would, to some extent, make up for the early exit in the Champions League against Liverpool FC in the last-16-round.
