PARIS, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Canadian talent Felix Auger-Aliassime and Sam Querrey of the United States have pulled out of the French Open through injuries, organizers announced on Sunday.

The 18-year-old Auger-Aliassime, seeded No. 25 at Roland Garros, withdrew with a left adductor injury.

Auger-Aliassime's hope of first career ATP Tour title had dashed following a straight-set loss in Saturday's Lyon Open final to Frenchman Benoit Paire.

He will be replaced by the Spanish lucky loser Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who takes on Australia's Jordan Thompson in the first round.

Meanwhile, Querrey withdrew from the clay major competition with an abdominal injury. The Swiss lucky loser Henri Laaksonen will replace him and face the Spanish qualifier Pedro Martinez in the first round.
