Chinese defense minister to attend Shangri-La Dialogue

BEIJING, May 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor and Minister of National Defense Wei Fenghe will attend the 18th Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, the Ministry of National Defense announced Thursday.

Wei will deliver a speech on "China and international security cooperation" and meet with heads of delegations from various countries for exchanges on extensive topics, the ministry's spokesperson Wu Qian said at a press conference.
