BELGRADE, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Serbian men's national team suffered their second defeat at the FIVB Volleyball Nations League as they lost to France 3-1 on home court in Novi Sad on Saturday.

France pushed aside Serbia 25-12, 25-22, 20-25 and 25-20.

France dominated the first set and the home team tried to level the score in the second set, but the French team was more precise in attack and outplayed their opponents.

Serbia clawed one point back in the third set when their attacking increased their opponents' errors.

The home supporters were looking forward to a possible turnover in the fourth set, but the French team managed to overcome Serbia's resistance with several easy points and sealed the match.

France will look for their third victory in the tournament against Japan on Sunday, while Serbia will look for their first triumph against Russia.

The Finals will take place in Chicago, United States in July.
