RABAT, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Casablanca's Al-Wydad (WAC) have won the Moroccan football championship, beating Tuesday night Khouribga 4-1 at home.
WAC who needed only a single victory to be champions, won the Moroccan title for the 20th time.
WAC strengthened their lead by 58 points from 17 wins, seven draws and five defeats.
They are six points ahead of their nearest rivals Raja Casablanca, who were beaten 3-0 away to Tetouan and are a further 13 points from third-placed Olympique Safi.
WAC won five titles before the founding of the Royal Moroccan Football Association (1948-1949-1950-1951-1955) and 15 after (1957-1966-1969-1976-1977-1978-1986-1990-1991-1993-2006-2010-2015-2017-2019).
