BEIJING, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Tuesday congratulated Prayut Chan-o-cha on his re-appointment as prime minister of Thailand.
In the congratulatory message, Li said that in recent years Thailand has made great achievement in development under Prayut's leadership, voicing his belief that the prime minister will continue leading the Thai people to build their nation.
China and Thailand are close like a family. The two countries are in close and friendly relations and their cooperation in jointly building the Belt and Road has yielded fruitful results, Li said.
The Chinese premier said that he is willing to join efforts with Prayut to develop and expand the traditional friendship between the two countries, and deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperation, so as to bring more welfare to the two peoples.
