USA beat Poland 3-1 in Women's Volleyball Nations League

JIANGMEN, South China, June 12 (Xinhua) -- The USA came back to win over Poland 3-1 (21-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-11) in the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League here on Wednesday, ending their two-match losing streak.

The USA led the first set 12-9 in the early stage, but Poland came back strong to square the set at 20-20. Poland scored the final four points to win the first set 25-21.

The second set saw the score seesawed to 19-19. The USA were stronger on key points and won the second set 25-23.

Poland scored four unanswered points to stake a 4-1 lead in the third set. Chiaka Ogbogu's blocks and Annie Drews' kills led the Americans surged to a 13-10 lead and cruised to a 25-15 win.

The fourth set saw the Americans dominated and bagged an easy 25-11 victory to win the match.
