LONDON, June 12 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.42 percent, or 30.83 points, to close at 7,367.62 points.
Reckitt Benckiser Group, a British multinational consumer goods company, soared 4.38 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Ferguson and Fresnillo increased by 2.91 percent and 2.18 percent, respectively.
British American Tobacco, a tobacco group, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 4.40 percent. BP, a British multinational oil and gas company, dropped 2.91 percent. CRH, an international group of diversified building materials businesses, fell 2.77 percent. Enditem
