6 killed in house fire in Mongolia

ULAN BATOR, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Six people, including four children, died when a fire razed a house in northern Mongolia's Darkhan-Uul province early Wednesday morning, local police said.

All the victims were from the same family, according to the province's police department.

"The fire killed an old couple in their 60s and their four grandchildren aged 3-6," it said.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
