Born in a family devoted to woodblock printing for generations in Yangzhou City, the 72-year-old Chen Yishi is an inheritor of this national intangible cultural heritage. Chen started to learn woodblock printing when he was 10, under the guidance of his father. Since then, Chen has devoted his life to refining the skills and teaching students, so as to keep the craft alive for generations to come. (Xinhua/Ji Chunpeng)
