XINING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- A delegation of over 30 journalists from the mainland and Taiwan started their visit to Qinghai Province in northwest China on Thursday.
Journalists from more than 20 media organizations including the People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China Central Television, the Taiwan-based United Daily News and Eastern Broadcasting Co. will visit places such as the provincial capital Xining and Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
The visit, running through June 28 and sponsored by the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots, aims at allowing journalists to learn more about the province's achievements in green development, eco-environment protection and poverty alleviation.
