China to face Italy in FIFA Women's World Cup Round of 16

PARIS, June 20 (Xinhua) -- China are set to face Italy in the FIFA Women's World Cup Round of 16 on June 25 in Montpellier.

China ranked third in Group B with 4 points while the Azzurre topped Group D despite a 1-0 defeat to Brazil in the last round.

After Cameroon beat New Zealand on Thursday, China confirmed their opponents as Italy.

The winners of the duel will take on either the Netherlands or Japan in the quarter-final in Valenciennes on June 29.
