LONDON, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Chelsea's teenage winger Callum Hudson-Odoi had good news for club and fans as he posted a video on social media of his rehabilitation from injury.

The 18-year-old England international ruptured his achilles tendon in April in a Premier League game against Burnley and missed out on the end of the season as well as the chance to play for England in the UEFA Nations League in June.

Although he was linked with a possible move to Bayern Munich in January, the sale of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid earlier this month coupled with a FIFA transfer ban Hudson-Odoi is set to take a more prominent role at Stamford Bridge in the coming season.

It's still not been confirmed whether he will be fit for Chelsea's first Premier League game of the season against Manchester United on August 11, but he has posted a short video of him training with a member of the Chelsea coaching staff on social media.

"The recovery is going well and I hope to be back soon on the pitch. Let's go!!" the message read.

Chelsea are still looking to confirm their first team coach for next season after the Europa League Champions allowed Maurizio Sarri to move to Italian champions Juventus after a difficult season in England.

Former Chelsea player, Frank Lampard is thought to be favorite to replace Sarri after leading Derby County to the Championship play off final last season, although there are doubts about his lack of experience in the dugout as well as the lack of progress Derby made under him.
