Senior Henan official turns himself in for law violation

ZHENGZHOU, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Wang Yao, a senior official in central China's Henan Province, turned himself in for an investigation of alleged violation of discipline and law, the provincial discipline inspection and supervisory commission said Monday.

Wang served as the head of the commission for social construction and committee for ethnic and foreign affairs of the provincial people's congress of Henan.
