Gonpo Cering, a cafe owner of the Tibetan ethnic group, cleans up a table before closing time in Xining, northwest China's Qinghai Province, May 16, 2019. Cering familiarized himself with the coffee culture after his graduation from college in 2012. The 28-year-old man runs a cafe in Xining, serving original Tibetan-style coffee drinks such as barley latte and yak butter americano to eager customers. Growing up in a Tibetan family on the pastures, Cering says he wants to achieve a blending of his childhood memories with the coffees and has therefore experimented a lot. "When you start up a business, it's easy to get tired, but you also feel happy about it," says Cering. "After a day's work, I fall asleep almost the moment I'm back in bed. But it makes me happy with every serving of drink that pleases the customer." (Xinhua/Wu Gang)
