LONDON, July 8 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.05 percent, or 3.87 points, to close at 7,549.27 points.
Imperial Brands, a British multinational tobacco company, soared 2.20 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. BHP Group and Experian increased by 1.88 percent and 1.69 percent, respectively.
Ocado Group, an online grocer, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 4.45 percent. JD Sports Fashion, a sports-fashion retail company, dropped 2.93 percent. Schroders, a British multinational asset management company, fell 2.64 percent. Enditem
