LONDON, July 12 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.05 percent, or 3.85 points, to close at 7,505.97 points.
Persimmon, a British housebuilding company, soared 4.55 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. DS Smith and Burberry Group increased by 3.23 percent and 2.74 percent, respectively.
Just Eat, an online food order and delivery service, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.36 percent.
Hiscox, an insurance provider, dropped 2.12 percent. DCC, an international sales, marketing and support services group, fell 1.47 percent. Enditem
