LAS VEGAS, July 14 (Xinhua) -- No.21 overall pick Brandon Clarke's 23-point, 14-rebound double-double spearheaded an 88-86 overtime victory for the Memphis Grizzlies against the New Orleans Pelicans in the semifinals of the NBA Summer League held here in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The two teams played a hard fought first half, with the Grizzlies leading at 37-33. After Memphis added six more points to their edge in the third quarter, it appeared the Grizzlies started to seize the momentum.

However, the Pelicans opened the fourth quarter on a 16-6 run over the first five minutes, and it took a sizzling stepback 3 from Tyler Harvey of the Grizzlies with four seconds remaining to force the extra period.

In overtime, a pair of Clarke free throws and a dunk, combined with a turnover by the Pelicans' Nickeil Alexander-Walker in the final seconds, helped seal the victory for the Grizzlies.

Clarke also had two assists and one block to his name. Harvey followed with 13 points, three rebounds and two assists. Bruno Caboclo posted 12 points, eight boards and two blocks.

Their reward will be the final against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who beat the Brooklyn Nets 85-77 in the other semifinal.

Minnesota led for almost the entire night, going up by as many as 25 points. Shooting was pivotal for the Timberwolves to advance to the final as they drained 11 three-pointers compared to just two for the Nets.

Naz Reid totaled 20 points, six rebounds and three blocks to lead the Timberwolves to victory.

The final game will be held on Monday.
