PARIS, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Ligue 1 club Lyon announced early Tuesday that brothers Nabil and Yassin Fekir have been transferred to Spainish La Liga side Real Betis.

Lyon revealed that Nabil Fekir has been transferred for 19.75 million euros, with up to 10 million euros in incentives and an incentive of 20 percent of the capital gains earned on a future transfer. The French club will receive an incentive of 50 percent of the amount of a future transfer of Yassin Fekir.

Nabil, a Lyon Academy product since age 12, played nearly 200 professional matches, scoring 69 goals and registering 41 assists. He became the Lyon captain in 2017 before winning the World Cup with France in 2018.

"Olympique Lyonnais thanks Nabil for all he has brought to the club, for his professionalism and especially for his involvement in the professional group as team captain," a club statement read.

"Olympique Lyonnais wishes Nabil and Yassin great success in the rest of their careers with Real Betis," it added.
