KIEV, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian agricultural exports amounted to 10.3 billion U.S. dollars in January-June 2019, local media reported Thursday, citing the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry.
The exports of agricultural products exceed last year's by 18.6 percent. The foreign trade turnover of agricultural products reached 13.1 billion dollars, or 25.1 percent of Ukraine's total foreign trade turnover, said Olga Trofimtseva, the acting agrarian policy and food minister.
"The most important for such results are the exports of grains -- 44.2 percent, oil -- 22.9 percent and oilseeds -- six percent," said the minister.
Asian countries are the main importer of Ukrainian agricultural products with a share of 41.9 percent. The top country on the Ukrainian export list is China, which imports nine percent of the agricultural products.
