BEIJING, July 26 (Xinhua) -- A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Friday called for efforts to rectify problems found during the CPC education campaign themed "staying true to our founding mission."
Yang Xiaodu, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and deputy head of the leading group of the campaign, made the remarks during a symposium held in Beijing for some provincial-level regions' rectification and implementation work.
Rectification and implementation work should focus on prominent problems so the campaign can be effective and the people can feel real changes and improvements, Yang said.
The spirit of self-reform should be carried forward to improve the quality and effects of the rectification and implementation work, he said.
