(190728) -- TURPAN, July 28, 2019 (Xinhua) -- What is it like to work under the scorching sun and on the hot land? Amid brutal heat wave, inspectors of Xinjiang Turpan Natural Environment Experimental Research Center, in Turpan where the land surface temperature can exceed 70 degrees Celsius under scorching sun in summer, conduct outdoor-exposure tests to test the durability of materials for up to five hours every day.

Turpan has become one of the best choices for world's automobile companies, material manufacturing firms and research institutes to conduct high temperature tests on their products. Over 30,000 products and parts are tested here now.
