GENEVA, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- The International Skating Union (ISU) published the list of International Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating compeititions for the 2019-2020 season on Thursday.
After a one-season absence, China will resume hosting ISU events for the upcoming season. Seven Chinese cities will stage this season's events as planned, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Changchun in northeast China.
According to a calendar published on the ISU website, Beijing will host the ISU Speed Skating International Race and the China Cup in October and November.
Next year, Daqing, a city in northeast China, will host the China Cup Speed Skating tournament, while the China Cup Final will be held in Urumqi, capital city of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
