Lyu Huihui breaks Asian javelin throw record at national trial

SHENYANG, China, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Asian champion Lyu Huihui broke her own continental record for the second time in less than a month when she threw 67.98 meters at the national trial here on Friday.

The javelin throw specialist improved on her previous Asian mark of 67.83 set at the national championships here on July 11.

Lyu, 30, already qualified for the Doha World Championships to be held between September 27 and October 6.
