LA PAZ, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- At least 14 people were killed and another 21 injured when a passenger bus fell into a ravine Sunday night in Bolivia, local authorities reported on Monday.
The accident occurred around midnight on Sunday near the town of Charazani, 251 kilometers from La Paz, according to preliminary information obtained, said Osvaldo Fuentes, director of public transit of El Alto, Bolivia's second-largest city.
"Among the dead, it is reported that 11 were women and three were men," said Fuentes to local media.
