Harbin's summer tourism booms

An increasing number of people choose northeast China's Harbin to spend their summer time due to its coolness and rich culture.


HARBIN, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) --Attracted by the coolness in summer, many tourists come to Harbin for vacation. Meanwhile, Harbin is a city of music for the locals who got in touch with European classical music in an earlier time in China.

With the cool summer and rich culture, Harbin received 36.23 million tourists and made revenue of 60.7 billion yuan (8.6 billion U.S. dollars) in the summer of 2018.
