PARIS, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- French Ligue 1 club Lille announced the arrival of attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici from Trabzonspor on Tuesday.
Lille signed the Turkish international through a five-year deal, with a reported transfer fee of 16.5 million euros.
The 22-year-old Yazici has made 14 appearances for Turkey since 2017.
"He has great technical qualities, ability to create space, very good quality on shots and remarkable left-footed passes, which will further improve our workforce for the coming season. We are confident that he will continue his progress with us," Lille general manager Marc Ingla said.
Yazici is seen as a replacement in attacking line for Lille, who have lost Nicolas Pepe and Rafael Leao during the offseason.
Lille, last season's runners-up, will start their league campaign at home against Nantes on Sunday.
