WINDHOEK, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- Former Brave Warriors coach Tom Saintfiet said that he still wants to coach Namibia again in the near future.

The Belgium-born coached Namibia in 2008-2010, and is now coach of Gambia's men's senior team.

"I think that answer (second stint) is clear, yes I would like too one day to coach them but I am very much satisfied with Gambia as I have just renewed a two-year-contract with Gambia. I also love the past working with the Namibia Football Association (NFA) and also love Namibia has it has lots of football potential," Saintfiet told Xinhua on Tuesday.

The Brave Warriors are currently without a permanent coach after the contract of former coach Ricardo Mannetti, who headed Namibia at the African Cup of Nations without wining a single match, ended by July 2019.

Bobby Samaria is the stand in coach of Namibia and has a one win, one draw record from two matches against Comoros in the first round qualifiers to the 2020 Africa Nations Championship.

Namibia beat Comoros 2-0 on aggregate and will now meet Madagascar in the final round qualifier in October this year. Enditem
