SANAA, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched a ballistic missile toward a Saudi military school in the Saudi Arabia's southwestern province of Jizan on Wednesday, the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.

This is the second missile attack against Saudi Arabia in past few hours.

"The missile hit gatherings of Saudi troops in the military training school in Mosim area in Jizan, killing dozens," Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea was quoted as saying in a statement.

"The operation came after accurate intelligence in real-time," he added.

The attack came a few hours after another Houthi-claimed ballistic missile at a border military camp in neighboring Saudi province of Najran.

Both alleged missile attacks were not confirmed yet by Saudi Arabia.

Houthis have recently stepped up missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia, but most of the missiles and drones had been intercepted by the kingdom's air defences.

The rebels have been demanding the lift of air and sea blockade on the territories they control, including the capital Sanaa.

Saudi Arabia has been leading an Arab military coalition against Iran-allied Houthis in Yemen for more than four years in support of the exiled internationally-recognized government of Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
