PARIS, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Ligue 1 defending champions Paris Saint-Germain announced on Thursday that French goalkeeper Remy Descamps has moved to Belgian club Royal Charleroi on a permanent deal.

After coming through the ranks at Clermont Foot, Descamps arrived at PSG in 2013, signing his first professional contract with the capital club in May 2016.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper spent the last two seasons on loan in Ligue 2, playing 21 matches at Tours FC and making 28 appearances for Clermont Foot Auvergne 63.

Descamps reached the final of the UEFA Youth League in 2016 with PSG's U-19 team, and won the 2017 French Cup with the senior side.

"The club thanks Remy for his dedication during his time at the club and wishes him the best for his professional career at Charleroi," PSG said in a statement. Enditem
