SW China province to invest 123.7 billion U.S. dollars in infrastructure building

A total of 123.7 billion U.S. dollars will be pumped into infrastructure building in mountainous Guizhou Province by 2022.

GUIYANG, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Guizhou Province will pump 868 billion yuan (about 123.7 billion U.S. dollars) by 2022 into infrastructure construction, according to the provincial government.

The money will go into major livelihood projects covering roads, water supply, electricity, underground pipes and oil-gas pipelines.

A total of 190 billion yuan will be invested this year, while the remaining 678 billion yuan is expected to come between 2020 and 2022.

Social and private capital are encouraged to participate in such projects.
