A teacher guides students in film editing at Beiling Central Primary School in Neiqiu County, north China's Hebei Province, Aug. 15, 2019. Beiling Central Primary School is located in hilly region in Neiqiu. Over half of the students in the school are left-behind children. To enrich children's life, the school established a film studio called "Starlight" in 2014, and encourages students to make micro films. So far, the studio has completed 7 films and is working on one about left-behind children's self-reliance. With teachers as directors and students as actors, the story is derived from students' real life and also inspires them in return. "I see a positive side and confidence within the character, and I will be tough and grateful towards life," says Ji Zihan, a student starring in the studio's lastest film. (Xinhua/Mu Yu)
