ULAN BUTONG, Aug. 29, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Ulan Butong means "Red Jar-shaped Mountain" in Mongolian. The Ulan Butong scenic area is rich in nature tourism and is well preserved.It mainly consists of lake, grassland, sand, wetland and forest.
The grassland was once an imperial enclosure during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and is now a home to different kinds of animals.
