THE HAGUE, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- PSV secured a late victory at RKC Waalwijk on Sunday in the Dutch Eredivisie after coming from behind to take home a 3-1 victory.

Earlier on Sunday, Ajax had an easy afternoon at Sparta Rotterdam winning 4-1. Quincy Promes opened the scoring and a combination by Hakim Ziyech and Dusan Tadic led to the second goal, Tadic converted a penalty and Ziyech produced the fourth goal after one hour of play from a Tadic assist again. Halil Dervisoglu scored the only Sparta goal one quarter from the end.

FC Twente beat FC Utrecht 2-1 and Vitesse defeated AZ 2-1 in Arnhem. After the opening goal by Teun Koopmeiners for AZ (penalty) Tim Matavz equalized on the stroke of half-time and Matus Bero earned Vitesse the win with a penalty in injury-time.
