BRATISLAVA, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Zilina remains the last undefeated team in the current season of Fortuna Liga, Slovakia's premier football league, after an impressive 5-0 victory over Senica in the 7th round.

Miroslav Kacer scored twice to keep Zilina on top of the league rankings.

Slovan Bratislava had to stomach their first Fortuna Liga loss of the season. Third-placed Dunajska Streda celebrated a solid 5-2 triumph against the reigning champions. Andraz Sporar opened the score for Slovan, but a red card for Joeri de Kamps reversed the momentum of the game. The home team produced five goals in total, two by Eric Ramirez, that crushed the visitor's hopes and erased their undefeated status.

Last-placed Nitra rallied after being down by two in the first half against Trencin and scored two quick goals in the second to bring home an important point after a 2-2 draw that moves them off the foot of the table.

Michalovce have not won an away game since December and their negative streak continues after a 2-1 loss in Trnava. The team from the Eastern region of Slovakia started well, but the home team turned the tables with two goals in the second half.

After a 3-3 draw, both Sered and Pohronie are waiting for a Fortuna Liga win for four rounds now. Sered was close to a triumph, but Patrik Jacko's goal saved one point for the visitors two minutes into extra-time.

Zlate Moravce's four-goal barrage against Ruzomberok left the visitors with very little chance of success, although they managed to cut the deficit to two. The 4-2 loss stretched Ruzomberok's winless streak to six games.
