NAIROBI, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Tuesday.

--Illegal settlers in the controversial Mau forest started streaming out of the resource yesterday to avoid a major confrontation with law enforcement officers deployed to execute an eviction order.

The movement came as Kenya Forest Service (KFS) officers arrived at Sierra Leone, Nkoben, Olpusimoru South areas ready to effect the order as they await maturity of a 60-day notice that expires in October. (Daily Nation)

--More than 1,000 corruption cases could collapse following a court order outlawing secret search warrants during investigations, prosecutors have told top judges.
