Chinese food-tasting event held to mark 70th anniversary of China-Mongolia ties

ULAN BATOR, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- A four-day event called "Taste of China" kicked off here on Tuesday to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Mongolia.

The event is part of a series of cultural events to celebrate the anniversary.

Various kinds of dishes originating from China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Hebei province, including roasted whole sheep, donkey burger, hot pot chicken, Mongolian pie and fried rice are offered to guests at the event.

"Chinese food culture is famous all over the world. I just really love Chinese cuisine," Tsend Enkhtuvshin, a Mongolian guest, told Xinhua.
